Hello dear visitor :)

While the year has been somewhat rocky on the health front, filk wise it has been a rather good year. We got to enjoy spring in California where we had been chosen to be the International GoH at Consonance 2010. We had an absolutely wonderful time, and I believe our concert went rather well. People appeared to like it, in any case. Seeing all those wonderful people and playing music there was great fun.

And then OVFF, which Katy got to attend on very short notice ... well, what can we say, other than THANK YOU!!! We have received the 2010 Pegasus Award for Best Filk Song for our song "A Thousand Ships". After having been nominated for this award for several years (seven, to be exact) we had really not expected to win it this time. But we did - due to you who voted for us. Katy was completely and joyfully shocked at the banquet, and Ju got an interesting wake-up call the next morning in Germany :))

Our new CD had to experience some delays, also due to some of the aforementioned rocky things on the health front, but we are optimistic to be able to bring it to you by the beginning of next year. Stay tuned. On the other hand - even if you don't stay tuned, you will notice, because we will make a lot of noise about it when it's done :) We can give you the title, for a start - it will be called "Shadow Horses"! Watch out!
